Jezibell is delighted to announce the formation of Eastern Star Dance Theatre, a new cabaret belly dance company performing both traditional and alternative pieces. Please friend us on Myspace - myspace.com/easternstardancetheatre/)

SATURDAYS: Jezibell teaches Expressive Belly Dance Saturdays at 10:30 at the Ballroom Dance Center, 525 Grand Slam Drive in Evans, (706) 854-8888 (http://thebdc.us). Feel free to drop in, $10 class. All adults and teens welcome, no prior experience necessary. Expressive Belly Dance explores the fluid, powerful movements of Middle Eastern Dance in a context of mind-body integration including breath focus, movement meditation, and self-awareness.

Wednesdayday, July 22 at 7:00 pm, Pagan Pride Percussion Practice at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3501 Walton Way Extension. Both beginning and experienced drummers are welcome to attend. We'll be working on some basic rhythms and drum compositions for Pagan Pride and other events.

Saturday, August 1, Eastern Star Dance Theatre performs at the Belly Dance Gala at Le Chat Noir.

Monday, August 3 at 7:00 pm, Pagan Pride planning meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3501 Walton Way Extension. All welcome to attend.

Friday, August 7 at 7:30 pm, Eastern Star Dance Theatre performs at Rock the Clock, on the island on Broad Street between 9th and 10th, in downtown Augusta for First Friday.

Saturday, August 8 at 6:00 pm, Labyrinth Walk at Pine Circle Farm, sponsored by the Sisterhood of Darkpine. This is a fundraiser for Pagan Pride and includes dinner, ritual and drum circle. For more details, email Jezibell.

Thursday, August 13 at 11:00 pm, Joe and Jezibell will be performing in A Tribute to Repo: The Genetic Opera with the Misfit Theatre Group (myspace.com/misfittheatregroup /) at Club Argos, 1923 Walton Way, $5.00 admission.

Friday, September 4 at 7:30 pm, Eastern Star Dance Theatre performs at Rock the Clock, on the island on Broad Street between 9th and 10th, in downtown Augusta for First Friday.

September 19 - Eastern Star performs at 5:00 pm on the Family Stage Arts in the Heart festival in downtown Augusta.

September 20 - Youssef the Storyteller performs at 4:00 pm on the Family Stage Arts in the Heart festival in downtown Augusta.

Saturday, September 26 at 4:00 pm, Eastern Star performs at Augusta Commons for the Westabou Festival's Dance Series.

Friday, October 2 at 7:30 pm, Eastern Star Dance Theatre performs at Rock the Clock, on the island on Broad Street between 9th and 10th, in downtown Augusta for First Friday.

Saturday, October 3, Augusta's first ever Pagan Pride Day at Lake Olmstead Park, 12-5 pm. Eastern Star will perform. More details to follow. EVERYONE PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS EVENT!

Saturday, October 24 at 4:00 pm, open Samhain Ritual at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3501 Walton Way Extension. All welcome to attend. Please bring food and drink to share for the potluck afterwards.

Thursday, October 29 at 11:00 pm, Joe and Jezibell will be performing in The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the Misfit Theatre Group (myspace.com/misfittheatregroup /) at Club Argos, 1923 Walton Way, $5.00 admission.

Friday, November 6 at 7:30 pm, Eastern Star Dance Theatre performs at Rock the Clock, on the island on Broad Street between 9th and 10th, in downtown Augusta for First Friday. This will be our last performance before the cold weather sets in.
